After growing up and working on sheep stations in the MacKenzie Basin, I headed to Lincoln University in 2002. After graduating I started at Brophy Knight in 2006 and gained my Chartered Accountant qualification in 2009. I became an Associate in April 2013 and a Director in 2017. Since starting at Brophy Knight, I have gained experience over a range of industries, and enjoy the different challenges that each industry brings.
Having lived locally for over 15 years I enjoy the opportunities and diversity that Mid Canterbury brings. I enjoy working with clients, sharing ideas and skills, to achieve desired goals and objectives. As a Director, I enjoy working closely with our highly skilled and dedicated team, to help our clients grow and prosper. The people at Brophy Knight are always encouraging of each other which makes it a great team to be a part of. I enjoy social sports and activities as well as physically and mentally pushing myself to compete in events like the Coast to Coast. My wife and our two children also enjoy being active and getting out and about exploring our surroundings.
Beyond the working week, my time is usually filled with a camping trip, a sports event or following our favourite racehorse.
